Time or Alchemy Stuck: 1.0.10 Fixes and Control Options

Match the freeze to the current patch

Version 1.0.10 was published October 2. The developer reports a stall caused by the Free Alchemy device during passing time or settlement, a failed Extreme Alchemy attempt whose result did not appear automatically, and a main-story progression block under certain conditions.

These are different symptoms. Record whether the clock, settlement, crafting result or story is blocked before spending materials on another attempt. The notes do not identify every affected quest or promise recovery of all existing saves.

A backup-first comparison

1. Keep a separate copy of the working save using the save-location guide.
2. Let Steam finish updating, then record the version actually launched.
3. Repeat the same affected action once; do not change the building, worker and recipe simultaneously.
4. If it still stalls, capture the device, recipe, time and story step, and describe the exact last successful action.

Version 1.0.9 separately repaired a stall with ten Gardener Humanwood working together and optimized large-worker settlements. A slow settlement and a missing alchemy result need different observations.

1.0.8 controls you must enable yourself

Settings gained collect all production outputs and quickly remove crops. Both are disabled by default. Check the setting before assuming the new action should work automatically, and try crop removal on a disposable crop before using it around an established breeding line.

Recycle All now applies to the selected Building Mode category. Check that category before confirming; the change is not a promise that every building is protected. Humanwood can display Not Working, including inactivity affected by random skills.

Keep older fixes in their own scope

The 1.0.8 seventh-card Blackjack stall is separate from 1.0.5’s Queen of Diamonds trigger. Alchemy-display fixes do not publish a new sediment recipe, and none of these notes establishes that every startup black screen is repaired. Keep using the existing symptom-specific guides for those problems.
