THE USEFUL PART, FIRST

Install v1.0.5 before replacing a worker or rebuilding a greenhouse. The developer reports fixes for night work, newly learned skills and greenhouse movement; an unassigned seed task is a different problem.

Match the worker symptom first

The v1.0.5 English notes call the workers Humanwood; earlier wiki pages use Peoplesprouts. Use the job, skill and location shown in your game to identify the affected worker, rather than assuming a change in English terminology adds a new worker class.

Check whether the failure happens only at night, immediately after learning a skill, inside a greenhouse, or whenever planting starts. These observations lead to different checks.

Night work, skills and greenhouse movement

The developer reports repairs to night work, delayed activation of new skills, workers trapped inside greenhouses and some skill descriptions in v1.0.5.

After making a separate save backup, confirm Steam has finished updating and test the affected worker in the same job. Compare one daytime and one nighttime attempt when the symptom was time-dependent. For a skill problem, record the displayed skill and its observed effect; for movement, capture the greenhouse position.

Still seeing Seeds depleted?

Check the selected planting seed and assigned task before concluding the worker fix failed. A worker can have a valid job while the task has no selected material. The seed-assignment checklist covers that separate warning.

For a crop or saved-gene-setting problem, use the crop-gene troubleshooting guide. Changing the worker does not test whether a crop setting survived loading.

Keep a small, useful reproduction

  1. Record the displayed game version and language.
  2. Identify the worker, current task and selected input.
  3. Note the time, skill and greenhouse location relevant to the failure.
  4. Check the worker’s Sanity and available materials.
  5. Observe one task, then report what should happen and what actually happens.

Do not destroy a greenhouse, dismiss a developed worker or spend your remaining sediment solely as a diagnostic. A developer-reported fix does not guarantee recovery of every pre-update state.
