THE USEFUL PART, FIRST

Update before rebuilding a crop line. v1.0.5 addresses Perennial, the saved Stop Updating setting and misleading seed-gene displays; Deeply Rooted removal now has a clearer prompt.

Which part of the crop is wrong?

Separate the plant’s observed behavior, the gene option you selected and the information displayed on a seed. A wrong tooltip does not prove that a plant inherited that trait. Record the crop name and whether the Gene Library is unlocked before changing a breeding setup.

Perennial and Stop Updating

v1.0.5 reports a Perennial fix and a correction to Stop Updating not surviving save/load. The note does not publish a new gene formula, exact regrowth duration or probability.

For a setting check, record its value on one crop, save normally, then compare the same crop after loading. For Perennial, record the behavior that differs from the current description. Keep those two observations separate instead of assuming one explains the other.

Genes appearing before the Gene Library unlock

The developer also corrects seed-stage gene labels that could appear before the Gene Library was unlocked even though those seeds did not actually carry genes. Do not select an expensive breeding plan solely from a screenshot of that older display.

Compare the current seed, crop and Gene Library state after updating. An interface correction does not tell us that every previously purchased seed has been converted or rerolled.

Deeply Rooted: read before removing

Removing a crop affected by Deeply Rooted now produces a clearer prompt. This is an explanation of removal behavior, not an announcement that removal is free or that the trait is disabled.

Read the actual prompt before confirming. Cancel when the consequence is unclear and preserve the crop while you check; do not use removal as a test on your only valuable plant.

Use the new shop information carefully

Seed purchases now show the associated produce amount. Use what the current shop displays when comparing your planned input and output, while keeping price, quantity and crop modifiers distinct. The note does not supply a universal harvest yield or a new price table.

For the Raincry/Raintear naming difference, keep using the existing seed-location guide. For a worker stuck inside a greenhouse, check Humanwood movement instead of rebuilding the crop.
